Liners
Liners are used to keep baby's bottom dry and to catch solids.
Paper Liners
Flushable and Biodegradable these liners are convenient to use and
dispose of. Standard liners are made of a very thin layer of paper,
Ultra liners are slightly thicker (like kitchen towel) and can be washed
and reused if they're not dirty.
Fleece Liners
A washable and reusable option. Newborn runny poo is simply soaked
up, solid poo can be plopped down the toilet and then the liner is put
in the bucket and washed with the nappies.
Both options work well, and no one single option has to be chosen -
you could use fleece at home and paper when out for convenience.
Silk Liners
Not a full time option, silk liners are used for their healing
properties. Can help with nappy rash. The problem is these have to be
hand washed! Only buy this type of liner if you specifically need it
(for very sore bums).
